In the heart of Chinatown, New York, an ornery, chain-smoking, newly widowed 80-year-old grandma (Tsai Chin) is eager to live life as an independent woman, despite the worry of her family. When a local fortune teller predicts a most auspicious day in her future, Grandma decides to head to the casino and goes all in, only to land herself on the wrong side of luck—suddenly attracting the attention of some local gangsters. HOW DO I WATCH ON APPLE TV?

Once you have purchased your ticket to the film on desktop or mobile, follow these steps to install the Kino Now app on your Apple TV (requires tvOS 9.0 or later). You will need to login using the same email address and password you just created.

  1. Turn on your Apple TV and open the App Store.
  2. Search for “Kino Now.”
  3. Install the Kino Now app on your Apple TV.
  4. Once installed, open the app and click the Sign In button.
  5. The app will ask for your email and Kino Now password.

USING CHROMECAST

The Kino Now web browser often supports Chromecast. You must have your computer and chromecast capable TV set on the same network for this to operate. In some cases Chromecast does not work, Google has not told us why.
