“THE SHORTS FILMS OFFER A VISION OF WHAT THE ACADEMY AWARDS SHOULD AND COULD BE, BUT VERY RARELY ARE: ECLECTIC, COSMOPOLITAN, SCRAPPY AND SURPRISING.” A.O. SCOTT, NEW YORK TIMES

Screening Sunday, February 25th

Rialto Theater

1:00 PM – Animation; 3:30 PM Documentary; 7:00 PM Live-Action. Titles and runtimes listed in Movie Info tab.

Bozeman Film Society is proud to present the Oscar Shorts showcasing the 2018 nominees in the Animation, Documentary and Live Action categories. The Oscar Nominated Short Films 2018 program offers viewers the rare opportunity to experience the year’s best short films from across the globe, collected together in this special cinematic event. Tickets sold per program.

Rating guidelines for each program:

Animation – PG. Most of the shorts would be G rated, but the very end of “Garden Party’ has some disturbing imagery of a human corpse that could be upsetting to younger viewers. Kids eight and over should be fine. Live Action – R (violence and some language.) Documentary (both parts) – R (violence, drug abuse, language)
